A few images from a recent trip to France with my girlfriend. The light was intense and all the cameras struggled. This image below is from the streets using the Olympus Trip, which might have had it’s last outing.
The phone camera managed a little better, the print of this image, taken near Fontainbleau is saturated in colour.
The landscape out there is quite amazing, sweeping flat views, with most things seeming to happen on the horizon, which is always just out of reach. At some point I would like to walk, for weeks across France.
The light as always is superb, even when it’s furnace like. The streets of Melun, an industrial suburb definitely have potential for making images.
